Duran is a self taught painter who attended the Fashion Institute of Design + Merchandising in Los Angeles. She majored in Visual Communications with an emphasis in Graphic Design. She took assistant jobs in Fashion Styling, and Interior Design for 5 years. In 2015 she moved to Paris to study French at Sorbonne, while in Paris she discovered open uninstructed atelier’s around the city and attended regularly teaching herself how to paint in every artistic style and medium by copying the old masters. She returned to California and started showing her work on social media and selling her work, starting her career as an artist.. Duran lives and works New York City.
